Tension In Katsina As Woman Arrested Carrying Ammunition And Military Uniforms
Security operatives in Malumfashi town, Katsina State, have apprehended a female suspect allegedly caught with combat gear and loaded magazines concealed in her bag, according to iReporter Online.
The arrest reportedly took place around 1:00 a.m. at a routine checkpoint, where the woman was intercepted under suspicious circumstances.
Upon searching her belongings, officers discovered three loaded magazines, a military uniform, tactical trousers, a combat jacket, multiple mobile phones, and other security-related items — a haul that has raised serious concerns about a potential link to terrorist logistics, according to iReporter Online.
The woman, who remains unnamed at this time, is currently in custody and undergoing intense interrogation as investigators work to uncover her affiliations and determine whether she is part of a broader network responsible for supplying arms and equipment to insurgent elements operating in the region.
According to iReporter Online, a community-based security outfit known as C-Watch played a crucial role in the arrest. In a video released by the group, the visibly shaken suspect was seen being questioned about the suspicious contents of her bag, sparking heightened public interest across social media.
