Terror Kingpin Bello Turji Now Cowers In Rat Holes, Say Military Forces

Notorious bandit leader Bello Turji is reportedly living in hiding as the military continues its relentless campaign to dismantle his operations in Shinkafi Local Government Area, Zamfara State. Lt. Col. Abubakar Abdullahi, spokesperson for Operation Fansan Yamma, confirmed that ongoing air and ground assaults have significantly weakened Turji’s network.

“We have delivered heavy blows to Turji’s terrorist hideouts in Shinkafi. Many of his fighters have been killed. Turji is now forced to live like a rat in holes,” Abdullahi stated.

The military offensive escalated after Turji threatened to wreak havoc on Shinkafi unless his relatives, arrested for terrorism, were released. In retaliation, Turji launched attacks on the region, including kidnappings, causing widespread fear. However, swift military action has resulted in the destruction of his camps and the neutralization of several of his fighters, including another notorious bandit leader, Sani Rusu.

The recent airstrikes by Operation Fansan Yamma have targeted key terrorist strongholds in the area. The military has vowed to continue their operations until all terrorist elements are eradicated from the region.

Turji, infamous for his brutal reign of terror in the Northwest, is linked to countless kidnappings, killings, and attacks on local communities.
