Following a private meeting with Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, Barrister Pius Akutah, the executive secretary of the council, revealed that the governor has issued directives on how to actualize the project for the benefit of shippers in the state.

In a press release by Rebecca Adamu, Assistant Director of Public Relations, the head of the Shippers’ Council emphasized that dry port projects across the country would enhance employment opportunities and significantly boost government revenue.

Akutah conveyed that the state governor instructed the Attorney General of Nasarawa State to engage with the Nasarawa Investment Agency to bring the aspiration to fruition.
