Troops, Police Engage Bandits In Gun Battle In Kaduna

Troops and Police operatives, at the weekend, in Kaduna, engaged armed bandits in a gun battle in the Rigachikun axis of the Kaduna-Zaria dual carriageway in Igabi Local Government Area, leaving one dead, while several others escaped with bullet wounds.

The bandits had earlier attacked a Fulani settlement belonging to a popular herder, Damina Kukumake, at Kukumake village.
