WAEC Reopens Portal for 2025 WASSCE Result Rechecks After Glitch
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has restored access to its result checking portal, allowing candidates to review their 2025 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results once again. This announcement was made in a brief statement posted on the Council’s official social media account.
WAEC apologized for the earlier disruption, which necessitated the temporary withdrawal of the results. The council explained that the review followed the detection of technical glitches affecting the initially released outcomes.
Candidates are advised to recheck their results on the portal to ensure accuracy. WAEC revealed that paper serialization processes on subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Biology, and Economics uncovered bugs in the original results, prompting the ongoing comprehensive review.
The examination body thanked candidates for their patience and understanding during the period of adjustment.
