Wife Of Former Army Spokesperson D!es After Heart Attack Sh*ck

According to Ireporter Online, Hajiya Nana Hauwa Yusuf, wife of former Director of the Directorate of Army Public Relations at Army Headquarters, Brigadier-General Mohammed Danjuma Yusuf (rtd), has passed away following a heart attack.

She reportedly died in the early hours of Sunday, May 31, 2026, at about 5:00 a.m. She was later rushed to the emergency unit of the National Hospital, Abuja, where medical personnel confirmed her death.

The late Hajiya Hauwa Yusuf previously served as Director of Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilisation at the Primary Health Care Department of the FCT Primary Health Care Board before her retirement in 2024. She hailed from Kogi State.

Reports indicate that she had just celebrated her 62nd birthday on May 3, 2026, at her residence in Abuja, where she was joined by family members, friends, and associates.

Her son, Mohammed Dantala Yusuf, confirmed her passing, noting that she died at the hospital despite efforts by doctors to save her life. She was subsequently laid to rest the same day at about 2:00 p.m. at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja in accordance with Islamic rites.

In a separate development, fresh details have emerged regarding the abduction of former Director of Defence Information, Major General Rabe Abubakar Batsari (rtd), alongside his wife in Katsina State. The retired military officer was reportedly travelling with his wife, Hajiya Amina Abubakar, and their driver, Abdullahi Sa’idu, when they were ambushed by suspected bandits along the Marabar Musawa–Kafinsoli road in Matazu Local Government Area.
