Nollywood actor Tobi Bakre has spoken out against gender discrimination in the entertainment industry, stressing the invaluable role women play in professional and personal development.

Speaking during a recent episode of a podcast hosted by media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Bakre argued that individuals who are unwilling to collaborate with women may be limiting their opportunities for growth and success.

The actor described women as influential contributors to the entertainment sector and credited many of them with playing a significant role in shaping his career. He noted that throughout his journey in the industry, he has worked with more women than men and has never allowed gender to influence his professional choices.

Bakre explained that his approach to work has always been centered on creativity, productivity, and achieving results. According to him, many of the women he has collaborated with embraced the same mindset, creating an environment focused on excellence rather than personal pride or competition.
