BREAKING: NLC President, Ajaero Gives Fresh Update As Workers Commence Nationwide Protests
Nationwide protests have been initiated by Nigeria’s labor unions. Joe Ajaero, the President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), revealed this during an interview with Channels Television at Unity Fountain in Abuja, where workers gathered to participate in the demonstrations.
Ajaero acknowledged that there have been some obstacles in commencing the protests in certain states.
However, he emphasized that despite efforts by the police to hinder the process in certain areas, the protests are underway and nothing will prevent them from expressing their views.
He asserted that the determination to protest remains strong and the unions are resolute in making a statement to Nigerians through these demonstrations.
