Scandal Unfolds: DeeOne Says He Used Nedu To Expose VeryDarkMan

Ireporteronline reports that the controversy began when DeeOne, during his interview on the podcast, alleged that VeryDarkMan was involved in same-sex relationships.

In response, VeryDarkMan fired back in a video on his Instagram page, accusing Nedu of using his platform to exploit up-and-coming entertainers in exchange for media exposure. He even threatened to reveal names of those whom Nedu allegedly claimed to have been intimate with in the industry.

The heated exchange sparked widespread controversy, ultimately leading to Nedu resigning from the show.

However, in a recent interview on TVC’s ‘Breakfast Show,’ DeeOne admitted that he had orchestrated the entire situation without Nedu’s knowledge.

Expressing regret over the fallout, DeeOne said:

“To be honest, I was the one who set a trap for VeryDarkMan using Nedu. I planned everything on my own, but Nedu had no idea. If I had said it on social media, people would have accused me of chasing clout, so I needed a credible platform.”

“I had been studying VeryDarkMan for months to determine whether he was genuine or just manipulating Nigerians. While he gets some things right, he often jumps to conclusions and misleads people.”

“Even Nedu is in shock because he wouldn’t have agreed if I had told him my plan. Unfortunately, I never expected him to lose his job, and I truly feel bad about it. But in the end, I used Nedu as bait to catch the fish (VeryDarkMan), and my plan worked perfectly.”

The revelation has further fueled the controversy, drawing mixed reactions from fans and industry insiders alike.
