Cheating Back Isn’t The Answer” – Ese Eriata Sends Message To Women
Nollywood actress and reality TV personality Ese Eriata has advised women against seeking revenge through infidelity after experiencing betrayal in relationships, stressing that retaliatory cheating only worsens emotional wounds instead of bringing healing.
According to reports gathered by Ireporter Online, the actress shared her thoughts in a post on her Instagram page, where she addressed the growing trend of people encouraging women to cheat back after being hurt by their partners.
Eriata noted that many women remain faithful and committed in their marriages yet still suffer betrayal, but warned that responding with the same behaviour does not provide closure. She explained that revenge cheating often recreates the same emotional pain caused by the initial betrayal while preventing proper healing.
The actress further stated that unresolved emotional trauma could make it difficult for individuals to identify unhealthy patterns or warning signs in future relationships. She maintained that true healing comes from self-improvement and emotional growth rather than retaliation.
According to her, the greatest form of revenge is becoming a stronger and more accomplished version of oneself that a cheating partner can no longer access. She encouraged women to focus on personal development physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually while deepening their relationship with God and taking time before entering another relationship.
Eriata also advised women to let go of relationships that cannot be repaired instead of responding with infidelity, emphasizing the importance of self-worth, healing, and choosing partners who genuinely offer love, respect, and understanding.
