EFCC Probes Nigeria Air Deal: Keyamo Reveals Criminal Investigation

according to revelations made by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Keyamo emphasized that the EFCC is actively conducting a criminal investigation into the deal, and he has requested a comprehensive report on the matter.
The revelation comes as Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), continues to express his reservations about the Nigeria Air agreement, which he suspended for a thorough audit upon assuming office last August.
Contrary to previous plans, Keyamo clarified that there are no intentions to designate a local airline as the national carrier.
The scrutiny over the Nigeria Air launch has intensified, with both the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on Aviation in Nigeria declaring it a hoax.
