a restructuring symposium in Onitsha, Nwosu praised them for reshaping Nigerian politics, echoing Peter Obi’s call for a “New Nigeria” and the importance of unity under the movement.
Nwosu expressed that the Obedient Movement, an inclusive body beyond political and ethnic lines, is critical to achieving a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria. He emphasized that, while the Movement has grown, its foundational leaders and principles should remain intact, cautioning against those seeking to capitalize on its success without having contributed from the outset. He warned that factional divisions, like those seen in Imo and Edo, should be avoided to maintain unity.
Describing Anambra as the next “battleground” for the Movement, Nwosu shared his vision for fair and compassionate tax policies to support small businesses and lower-income residents, as well as social welfare programs focused on housing, nutrition, and financial assistance for vulnerable populations.
