BREAKING: Amid Calls For Wike’s Removal As Minister, Tinubu Reveals Identify Of Ministers He Wants To Sack (DETAILS)

On Wednesday, October 31, President Bola Tinubu emphasized that the ministers in his cabinet will be retained only if they consistently meet performance expectations, subject to periodic evaluations.

He cautioned that ministers who fail to meet their assignments and objectives will be removed from their positions.

President Tinubu delivered this message during the opening of the 2023 Cabinet Retreat for Ministers, presidential aides, Permanent Secretaries, and top government functionaries at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.

He said: “If you are performing, nothing to fear if you miss the objective we review, if you don’t perform, you leave us… Don’t be a clog in the wheel of Nigeria’s progress.”

The three-day cabinet retreat is for ministers, presidential aides, permanent secretaries, and top government functionaries.
