Breaking: FCTA Disburses N3.62-Billion For May Allocation To Area-Councils, Teachers, And Pension-Scheme (Details)

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has disbursed N3.62 billion as statutory allocation for May to the six area councils, teachers, and the pension scheme. Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, Minister of State for the FCT, presided over the 190th FCT Joint Account Allocation Committee meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.

Mahmoud detailed that N1.14 billion was allocated to the six area councils, while N2.49 billion was designated for teachers and pension schemes.

From the N1.14 billion for the area councils, the distribution is as follows:
Abuja Municipal Area Council: N346.53 million
Gwagwalada: N160.81 million
Kuje: N191.38 million
Bwari: N152.8 million
Abaji: N119.49 million
Kwali: N167.52 million

For the N2.49 billion set aside for teachers and the pension scheme, N2.12 billion was allocated to primary school teachers, N36.25 million for the Training Fund, N226.48 million for Pension Funds, and N107.85 million for the employer pension contribution.
