The Speaker of the Ogun House of Assembly, Mr. Olakunle Oluomo, presented the bill to the governor. Dubbed the “Budget of Sustained Growth and Development,” it had been initially presented to the House on November 30 by Governor Abiodun.

Reflecting on the past five years of remarkable growth in the state, the governor asserted that the budget underscored his administration’s unwavering commitment to implementing its vision.

Since assuming office in May 2019, the administration has prioritized creating a conducive environment for investments and fostering the prosperity of the people.

Governor Abiodun highlighted the substantial increase in the budget, which is now more than double the initial budget upon assuming office.

He also emphasized the consistent success in implementing budgets, with a minimum of 70 percent execution year after year.
