As of Monday morning, IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari clarified to reporters that there is no ongoing conflict between the Israel Defense Forces and Hamas within Israel.

Furthermore, Hagari stated that the IDF has successfully regained control of all communities surrounding the Gaza Strip.
This update follows over 48 hours since Hamas initiated a sudden attack, employing thousands of rockets and sending fighters across the border in an incursion on a scale not witnessed by Israel since the 1948 War of Independence.
