As previously reported by Ireporteronline, the apex court upheld Mohammed’s election as the duly elected Governor of Bauchi State.

The dismissal of the appeal by Sadique Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for lacking merit was announced in the lead judgment read by Justice Ibrahim Saulawa.

Taking to his official X account, Governor Mohammed expressed gratitude to Allah for the victory. He attributed the success to the people of Bauchi State and the PDP.

In his statement, Mohammed emphasized that the victory affirms the commitment to continue the positive work in Bauchi State.

He thanked stakeholders, including religious and faith leaders, political associates, friends, and well-wishers, for their support in the journey to success.

The Governor concluded by stating, “This victory reaffirms that the good work in Bauchi State must go on. #GreaterBauchi.”
