[Just In] Borno Governor Expresses Grief As Spokesman, Gusau, Passes Away In Indian Hospital
Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, expressed profound grief over the passing of his spokesperson, Isa Gusau. In the statement, Governor Zulum lauded the late Gusau as a devoted public servant and an invaluable member of his team. Serving as the Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy to Zulum since June 2019, Gusau had previously held the same position under Senator Kashim Shettima during his governorship.
The statement quoted Governor Zulum as saying, “Mallam Isa Gusau was admired by everyone for his commitment to the people of Borno State and his exceptional professionalism in his role.
He was a tireless advocate for the state and worked diligently to communicate the government’s initiatives and policies to the public with clarity and transparency.”
Governor Zulum emphasized Gusau’s legacy, noting that he would be remembered for his fervor in serving the people of Borno State and his unwavering dedication to the state’s improvement.
The governor acknowledged Gusau’s pivotal role in fostering understanding and cooperation between the government and the people through his exceptional communication skills.
In light of this loss, Governor Zulum extended his prayers for the repose of Isa Gusau’s soul and offered condolences to the bereaved family, wishing them the strength to endure this difficult time.
