[BREAKING] Rivers Crisis: What Will Happen If You Take My Base – Wike Makes Strong Revelations (VIDEO)

During a meeting with South-South leaders in his office on Tuesday, Wike, a former Governor of Rivers State, underscored the significance of maintaining his political stronghold to sustain his political influence.

He asserted that once he loses his political base, he loses his political relevance. Wike further stated that no amount of unfounded allegations against him would disturb his peace of mind, emphasizing the importance of doing what is right.

“All of us want to be politically relevant; all of us want to maintain our political structure,” the minister said.
“Is it not your political structure? Will you allow anybody to just cut you out immediately? Everybody has a base. If you take my base, am I not politically irrelevant?”
The rapport between Wike and Fubara is reported to have deteriorated in light of the Assembly’s threat to impeach the governor.
Some individuals have pointed fingers at Wike, suggesting that he may be the mastermind behind the impeachment scheme. The Rivers Assembly Complex witnessed a chaotic scene after a section of it caught fire on Sunday night.
Monday morning saw further commotion as principal officers were removed from the Assembly amidst the sound of gunshots filling the air.
Fubara personally visited the Complex on Monday to assess the extent of the damage and claimed that he was fired upon by the police. The police responded by stating that they were investigating the allegation.
Both Wike and Fubara belong to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Wike acknowledged that internal conflicts are customary in politics and assured that they will be resolved through the party’s established procedures.
“In politics, there are a lot of internal wranglings,” he said.
“But to come out and say ‘Oh they want to do this against me, it will not work.’ I had every power then to say where this thing is going. So, when things are wrong, you ask questions. It is a party affair. The party knows how they resolve their own mechanism, it is not an ethnic affair.
“Our party is coming to it, that is what I will say. Every politician has his own interest,” the former governor added.
