Electrician Fatally Falls From Ladder And Dead While Working In Umuahia Hotel

The unfortunate event occurred around 12:30 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Reports indicate that Okon fell from the ladder, sustaining a fatal head injury that rendered him unconscious.

He was immediately rushed to the Federal Medical Centre Umuahia, where medical personnel pronounced him dead upon arrival.

There are conflicting reports suggesting that Okon might have been electrocuted before the fall.

Confirming the incident, ASP Maureen Chinaka, spokesperson for the State Police Command, stated that the hotel management reported the tragedy to the Central Police Station, Umuahia.
