Game-Changer Alert: Remi Tinubu Support Organisation Appoints Fresh National Trustee!

The Remi Tinubu Support Organisation (RETSO) has appointed prominent lawyer and political strategist Yakubu Abdullahi Hussaini Ruba (SAN) as a National Trustee, tasking him with leading grassroots enlightenment efforts for the First Lady’s flagship Renewed Hope Initiative across Jigawa State and beyond, according to iReporter Online.

According to iReporter Online, the First Lady’s initiative, which has already disbursed ₦9.4 billion towards health programmes and humanitarian projects for women, youth, and children, lies at the core of RETSO’s mission to broaden its nationwide influence and preserve Senator Remi Tinubu’s legacy of people-focused leadership.

At the appointment ceremony in Dutse, RETSO’s National Coordinator, Yusi Buba, highlighted their goal to strengthen grassroots engagement and sustain support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration ahead of 2027.

“Our focus is on building a movement that reaches every communit

y, ensuring the First Lady’s vision touches lives at the base of society,” Buba said, according to iReporter Online.

In his acceptance speech, Ruba — a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, former Attorney-General of Jigawa State, and one of the 50 SANs who defended President Tinubu’s mandate at the Supreme Court — described the appointment as “an honour and a call to service.”

He pledged his commitment, alongside other Jigawa State trustees, to tirelessly work for RETSO’s success and to secure APC’s victory in future elections.

With governors’ wives serving as state matrons of RETSO, the organisation plans to leverage its expanded national leadership to deepen outreach, sustain the Renewed Hope Initiative, and solidify APC’s grassroots base ahead of the next political cycle.
