Governor Sanwo-Olu Thanks Prince Harry And Meghan Markle For Mental Health Initiative With Nigerian Military

During a courtesy visit by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, to the Lagos House in Marina, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State praised the royal couple for collaborating with Nigeria’s military on mental health initiatives.

Sanwo-Olu expressed his gratitude for their partnership with the office of the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and his wife, Mrs. Lilian Musa, emphasizing the importance of their work in addressing mental health issues among military personnel.

He described Prince Harry’s visit to Nigeria as informative and highlighted the significance of his experiences in Kano, Abuja, and Lagos, stating that it provided insights into the diversity and scale of the country.

The governor extended an open invitation to the royal couple to return to Lagos at any time, appreciating their efforts in supporting those in need, both in the military and private sectors, who require mental health assistance.
