Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, and actress Yemi Eberechi Alade, known professionally as Yemi Alade, stated in an exclusive interview that her blockbuster song ‘Jonney’ was leaked.

During the exclusive interview, the interviewer stated that the moment she recognized she had become a star was when she learnt that her song ‘Jonney’ had become a hit.

She immediately said, “Yes, I felt it.” I had no idea it was a leaked music; I never released it publicly.”

When asked about the cover of the popular song, she said, “If you find the picture, it’s a picture of me with some blonde weave.”

The interviewer asked further, “What do you mean it leaked?”

She added, “It leaked online; it was never officially released. Yes, it probably would never have been released. God finds a way to move people and things around.”
