Despite this, the team has remained competitive, with a strong record of three wins, one draw, and one loss during this period. Their most recent triumph—a 2-0 away win against Bendel Insurance—has boosted their morale as they prepare for their homecoming. Currently sitting in fifth place on the NPFL table with 17 points, the team remains determined to build on their positive form.

On the other hand, Shooting Stars’ technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, has expressed optimism following his team’s 3-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors. This impressive win at the Lekan Salami Stadium ended El-Kanemi’s unbeaten streak and has provided a significant confidence boost for the Oluyole Warriors.
