Odumodublvck Says Wike Would Make A Hit Musician, Praises His Distinct Voice

Popular Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has expressed admiration for the musical flair of Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, suggesting that Wike would have thrived as an artiste.

Taking to his official X handle, the hip-hop star remarked that he wished Wike was into music, describing the minister’s vocals as uniquely appealing.

“I wish say Wike dey do music. I hear something in his vocals. I’m not joking,” Odumodublvck wrote.

Wike, who served as Governor of Rivers State from 2015 to 2023, gained popularity for his live band performances during public events. Following his appointment as FCT minister, he reportedly moved his band to Abuja.

Just last month, while commissioning the collector road from Mabushi to the Judges’ Quarters in Katampe, Wike announced plans to increase the salaries of his band members, reflecting his continued passion for musical entertainment.

Wike’s band is known for creating widely circulated songs such as ‘As E Dey Sweet Us’, ‘Agreement Is Agreement’, and ‘Biggie Man’, which have become staples at his political gatherings and beyond.
