Osun LG Elections At Risk: Police Sound Alarm, Demand Immediate Suspension

Additionally, the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, has called for the elections to be shelved due to legal complexities surrounding a recent Court of Appeal ruling. Despite these warnings, Governor Ademola Adeleke insists that the elections will proceed as planned.
The police emphasized that while security forces are prepared to maintain order, postponing the elections would be in the best interest of public safety and democratic stability.
