Reflecting on her recent achievements, Martins said, “It has been overwhelming receiving recognition in different places. Just a few weeks ago, I traveled to South Africa to receive an award for outstanding CEOs, which was an incredible experience.”

On her philanthropic efforts, the actress revealed that charity has always been a central part of her life. “I don’t go to church, but this is how I pay my tithe—by doing things for people who I know can never repay me. Addressing her absence from organized religion, Martins clarified, “I’m not an atheist. I’m a Christian. What matters most is what you do behind closed doors.” She disclosed that the unwanted sexual advances from pastors in various churches led her to step back from institutional worship. “Since then, I worship God in my own way — through charity and personal devotion,” she added.

Discussing her staying power in Nollywood, Martins attributed it to consistency and passion. “There’s a difference between doing something just for the sake of it and doing it because you love it. I am deeply passionate about acting and producing. These days, I focus more on producing than acting.”

On-screen, Martins enjoys playing romantic and emotional roles, noting, “I’m a very emotional person with a big heart. People often think I’m tough, but those close to me know I’m very soft.”
