People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has thrown a jab at the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, Adams Oshiomhole and Hon. Okpebholo, over their failure to address the poor state of federal roads in the region. The PDP campaign team highlighted that despite Oshiomhole’s prominent position as a former governor and Okpebholo’s influence, critical infrastructure, including major federal roads, continues to deteriorate, causing hardship for commuters and residents alike.

The PDP further criticized their inability to leverage their influence to attract the necessary federal attention and funding required to fix these vital roads, which are crucial for the state’s economic development. This failure, they argue, is a clear sign of negligence and a lack of genuine concern for the well-being of Edo citizens.

In a statement released by the PDP campaign, they urged the people of Edo State to reflect on the unfulfilled promises made by the APC leaders and vote wisely in the upcoming gubernatorial election. The PDP assured the public that, under their leadership, priority would be given to road infrastructure development, as well as other essential services, to improve the lives of Edo residents.

As the Edo governorship election draws closer, the PDP continues to gain momentum, presenting itself as a party that truly understands and prioritizes the needs of the people. The campaign team promised that a PDP-led government would focus on rebuilding Edo’s infrastructure to support the state’s growing economy and improve the standard of living for all its citizens.
