Adejobi made this announcement via his official X account on Tuesday, emphasizing that the force expects full compliance and engagement from all PPROs. He warned that PPROs failing to embrace digital media would face consequences.
Furthermore, Adejobi highlighted that the police would closely monitor the online activities and participation of PPROs across various social media platforms. Regular reports on their engagement and effectiveness will be furnished to ensure accountability and effectiveness in communication.
The move underscores the importance of leveraging digital platforms for improved security and national unity, according to Adejobi.
This directive follows observations of increased social media activity by the new Kwara state police spokesperson. It reflects the force’s commitment to utilizing modern communication channels to enhance public engagement and transparency.
