Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has been admitted to the hospital following his recent return from a trip to the United Kingdom (UK).

The controversial artist came back to Nigeria on December 12 after completing a week-long tour in the UK.

In a series of Instagram story posts, the Ogun-State-born artist requested prayers from his fans without specifying the nature of his illness. Despite not providing details, he assured his followers that he is not destined to die young.

During his time in the UK, Portable met with British MC Skepta and Afrobeat singer Tiwa Savage at the British Fashion Award held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. In a viral video, Portable referred to Tiwa Savage as his ‘godmother’ and showered her with praises and prayers.

Portable’s appearance at the British Fashion Awards gained significant attention on social media, with fans applauding his confidence and unique style. Upon returning to Nigeria, the 29-year-old, as announced by his manager Babyluvgram on Instagram, was seen distributing dollars earned from his tour to fans on the streets. The singer received praise for the gesture of throwing bundles of dollars to the gathered fans around his car.
