Soludo’s Road Initiative: Averaging 10 Kilometers Of Roads Monthly

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, reiterated the state government’s commitment to constructing, reconstructing, and rehabilitating approximately 10 kilometers of roads each month. Speaking during the commissioning of a newly completed five-kilometer road linking Port-Harcourt road and Niger Street in the Fegge area of Onitsha, Onitsha South Local Government Area, Soludo highlighted that alongside roads, the government is undertaking various other projects.

These projects include improvements in healthcare delivery systems and access to clean drinking water. Soludo mentioned ongoing projects such as hospitals and pipe-borne water initiatives aimed at making healthcare and clean water accessible and affordable throughout the state.

With the completion of the Port Harcourt Road and Niger Street projects, Soludo outlined plans to focus on other adjoining roads in Onitsha, such as Zik’s Avenue, Silas Works, and Miss Elems, among others.
