Suspect Arrested With Fake $100,000 Notes In Abuja

According to ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, the arrest was made during a raid on a cybercrime hideout in Garki II, FCT. Despite the escape of other gang members, Zenabdin was successfully apprehended.

During the raid, evidence including $100,000 bills believed to be counterfeits, sophisticated counterfeit detection equipment, international passports, mobile phones, and a luxury vehicle were discovered.

Zenabdin provided confessional statements and valuable information to aid in the apprehension of other gang members. He will face arraignment in court following the conclusion of the investigation.

IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun commended the efforts of the NCCC Director, CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry, and his team in combating cybercrime. He assured the public of their safety while warning cybercrime threat actors to cease their illicit activities or face severe legal consequences.
