‘They Said They’ve Come To Kill Everybody That If …. – What Transpired When Wanted Cultist 2Baba And His Gang Orchestrated Fresh Attack In Rivers Community After Killing DPO Bako

The residents of Odiemerenyi in Ahoada East Local Government Area (LGA) of Rivers State are gripped with panic following an incident where suspected cultists shot and killed five members of the community.

The gruesome act occurred around 1 am on Sunday and is believed to have been carried out by the notorious David Gift, also known as 2baba, and his gang. They are wanted for the murder of the late DPO Bako Angbashim.

According to a resident of the community, the gangsters infiltrated the village at approximately 1 am, targeting and fatally shooting two of his brothers and another individual within his compound.

Speaking via telephone interview, the source who wished to remain anonymous said: “They said they’ve come to kill everybody that if they don’t release their people in police custody including the chief that’s with them and those of their sympathizers, that they’re not going to stop killing everybody”.

He further said: “They shot my younger brother and two other of my brothers then they went to another compound and shot another person. So, five persons were killed”.
