Tinubu Celebrates Nyesom Wike, Calls Him A ‘Shining Star’ In His Cabinet

According to Ireporter Online, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended birthday congratulations to Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), on December 13.

In a statement released on Saturday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president praised Wike for his dedication to service, courage, and outstanding performance in government.

Tinubu described Wike as a determined and results-driven leader, highlighting his efforts in advancing the Federal Capital Territory’s infrastructure, particularly his intervention in resolving a 14-year delay in the construction of the Apo-Karshi road.

The president lauded Wike’s resilience, commitment to excellence, and consistent delivery of projects, noting that his success extends beyond his tenure as Governor of Rivers State.

“Wike has been one of the shining stars in the cabinet, demonstrating remarkable leadership and delivering unprecedented development in the Federal Capital,” Tinubu said. “He continues to champion the Renewed Hope Agenda despite belonging to another political party, and I wish him strength and success as he celebrates another year.”
