Yahaya Bello Denies Assassination Attempt On Life, Reveals What Transpired (VIDEO)
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State vehemently denies allegations of an assassination attempt on his life.
On Sunday, reports emerged suggesting that Bello narrowly escaped an assassination attempt while en route to an official engagement in Abuja.
A statement released by the Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, confirmed that the incident took place at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 22.

“The attackers dressed in military uniforms waylaid the governor’s convoy and started shooting sporadically at his vehicle and other vehicles in the convoy. It took the swift intervention of the security personnel attached to the governor to foil the satanic plans of the unknown soldiers.”
In a Facebook Live session on Sunday, Bello refuted the assertion, emphasizing, “Misguided elements will take this out of context. You are not doing me any favor by disseminating false information, alleging that Governor Yahaya Bello narrowly escaped an assassination when no such incident occurred.”
‘There was a minor fracas between the military and the police attached to my convoy. It was resolved within five minutes.”
