According to Ireporter Online, popular Nigerian comedian and entrepreneur Isaac Aloma, widely known as Zicsaloma, has encouraged individuals to consider cosmetic surgery and other physical enhancements to improve their personal and professional prospects.

In a video shared on social media, the entertainer stated that physical appearance plays a crucial role in determining one’s opportunities in today’s image-conscious society. He shared personal experiences to illustrate how his looks once hindered him from advancing in his career despite having the necessary qualifications and skills.

Zicsaloma recalled a time he lost a competitive job opportunity because the female directors at the company felt his appearance was unsuitable for customer-facing roles. He also narrated how he was rejected during a talent audition despite receiving praise for his performance. According to him, a crew member later revealed that his dental flaws and skin issues influenced the judges’ decision.

Reflecting on these experiences, the comedian said he realized how much society values physical attractiveness, describing the world as “extremely superficial.” He further emphasized that appearance often outweighs talent or competence in industries like entertainment, where people are celebrated more for their looks than their abilities.

Referencing reality shows such as Big Brother, Zicsaloma pointed out that contestants’ appearances frequently become the center of public discourse. He noted that many people’s admiration for actors and celebrities often stems from their physical appeal rather than their skill.
