Zulum Allocates Over N255 Million And Food To Civilian JTF And Hunters

The distribution took place at the Multipurpose Hall of the Government House in Maiduguri, conducted by Governor Zulum on Wednesday.

In attendance were approximately 5,523 members of the civilian JTF and hunters operating within Maiduguri and Jere, including those on the government payroll and volunteers.

Each of the 4,513 individuals receiving monthly salaries from the government received a 50kg bag of rice and N50,000 in cash, while the remaining 1,000 volunteers were each given a 50kg bag of rice and N30,000 in cash.

Governor Zulum expressed profound gratitude to the volunteers for their unwavering dedication and sacrifices towards restoring peace in the state, emphasizing that their welfare remains a top priority for his administration.

The event was attended by key officials including the Secretary to the State Government, Bukar Tijjani, the Head of Service, Mallam Fannami, and the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar.
