Atiku’s Battle Ahead Of 2027 Presidential Elections The Gains And The Repercussions

“If a child pretends to be dead, the best thing to do is to pretend to bury him”-African Proverb.
This is a funny but wise piece of counsel. Children enjoy playing a variety of games, and one of their favorite games is malingering, which involves making up an illness or exaggerating a condition in order to avoid doing anything.
The phrase “malinger” comes from the military, where a soldier may make up an illness or physical disability to avoid working or reporting for duty. Even though it is unethical, some people really engage in this behaviour.
According to the wisdom inherent in this proverb, the most effective approach is not to directly challenge them but to grant them the benefit of the doubt, treating them as if they genuinely require assistance.
When a child pretends to be at death’s door, a playful response like pretending to bury them can magically resurrect their vitality. The key lesson here is not to always engage in arguments or confrontations. Sometimes, the most effective way to awaken people from their delusions is to reflect their actions back at them. It’s all about strategic interaction!
Atiku Abubakar, who is currently on a fishing expedition to find Tinubu’s certificate, is already planning ahead of the 2027 presidential elections.
While this childish game meant to be a distraction may for the time being gain popularity and swing unwarranted sentiments in some public sectors, it is destined to have its own implications, much like the difficult child who wants to malinger in order to avoid housework.
Starting smear campaigns against an incumbent with four years left on their tenure has various drawbacks. It can cause division, destroy trust in politics, squander resources, shift focus away from policies, potentially backfire, harm the opposition’s brand, and impede productive policy creation. Furthermore, it may contribute to negative politics and undermine accountability.
Hence, should Atiku choose to initiate an early smear campaign against the surging popularity of Tinubu’s administration, which is resolute in its mission to overhaul the existing order and propel the nation toward peak productivity, he could potentially face a situation akin to a child pretending to be dead, prompting the parent to respond by feigning a burial.
The ongoing controversy surrounding Atiku’s paternity, even in his advanced age, raises concerns about his alleged deceitful tendencies, which seem to revolve solely around self-interest.
Nigerians have already started responding to his questionable actions, reminiscent of the classic Tortoise and his in-law parable. It should come as no surprise if discussions begin to focus on Atiku’s history, which ironically lacks integrity.
At one point, his ex-boss, Obasanjo, famously characterized his GREED as stretching longer than the Nile River, while also likening his appetite for corruption during their eight-year working relationship to a peak higher than Mount Everest.
Atiku Abubakar’s early efforts to launch smear campaigns and prepare for the 2027 presidential elections may offer short-term gains, but they come with significant disadvantages and repercussions.
In the backdrop of Atiku Abubakar’s early campaign manoeuvres for the 2027 presidential elections, the famous expression “Cunny man die, cunny man bury am” finds a sad link.
In Atiku’s instance, his unusual and contentious political techniques, reminiscent of a “cunny man,” may continue to characterise his public career. As the word implies, these strategies could offer both benefits and drawbacks, eventually shaping how he is regarded in the political sphere.
As Atiku embarks on this strategic political path, the public’s reception and the outcomes of his actions will determine the lasting legacy of his campaign leading up to the 2027 presidential elections.
