Oshiomhole Shuts Down Edo As He Is Set To Attend The Okpekpe Road Race

Excitement is at an all-time high in Edo State as Senator Adams Oshiomhole, former governor and prominent political figure, confirms his attendance at the Okpekpe Road Race this weekend. This event, which has grown in prestige since its inception, was upgraded to gold label status in 2023, making it the first gold label 10km race on Nigerian soil and in West Africa.

World-class competitors will compete in this race, which is renowned for its difficult terrain and breathtaking environment. There are rumours that Oshiomhole may even compete in the race, as he has done in the past, which heightens the excitement surrounding his attendance.

Race organizer Mike Itemuagbor highlighted the significance of Oshiomhole’s attendance, noting that it enhances the event’s prestige and showcases Edo State’s vibrant spirit.
