Asari Dokubo Vows To Take Down Armed Helicopters In Fiery Clash With FCT Minister Wike
Former militant leader Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo has delivered a fierce warning, threatening to shoot down military and police helicopters that have been surveilling his residence in Rivers State.
In a video that circulated on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, October 5, 2024, Dokubo alleged that helicopters, purportedly dispatched by the military and police on the orders of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, hovered over his property for approximately 30 minutes.
The visibly enraged former militant asserted that he has the capability to bring down the helicopters if they continue to provoke him. He perceived the flyover as a calculated provocation orchestrated by Wike with the support of the Federal Government.
