of the Listen podcast. He shared how his life changed dramatically after losing his father at age 11 and his mother at 21.

To support himself through school, Ice Prince took on various menial jobs but ultimately couldn’t pursue a university education because he couldn’t raise N20,000. He stated, “I don’t have a mother or father. I’m an only child, and that’s quite difficult. I lost my dad when I was eleven and my mum around 21 or 22. I also have a large family that depends on me.”

He continued, “I don’t have any uncles, aunts, or family friends to lean on. It’s been nothing but God’s grace in my life.”

Reflecting on his struggles, he said, “I want my story to inspire others—if I can succeed, no one has an excuse to fail. I often spent at least three weeks at home each term due to school fees. I didn’t attend university because I couldn’t come up with N20,000 in time, which led to the loss of my admission
