The controversy surrounding the whereabouts of suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, was put to rest on Friday as a close family source confirmed that he is alive and well.

According to report on the condition of anonymity, the source assured the public that there was no cause for alarm, though they refrained from disclosing the governor’s current location.

“I have spoken to the governor, and there is no cause for alarm,” the source stated.

This confirmation follows growing concerns from the Rivers State Elders and Leaders Council, who had raised alarm over Fubara’s whereabouts since his suspension by President Bola Tinubu on March 18.
