Speaking during an appearance on the “I Said What I Said” podcast, Lojay reflected on how his early understanding of fame was shaped by the belief that it would come with multiple romantic opportunities. However, he said his perspective has changed over time as he has grown in the industry.

He explained that maintaining discipline is essential for sustaining a long and successful music career, stressing that artists must learn to resist distractions despite constant attention and pressure. According to him, public figures must also be mindful of their behaviour and speech in order to protect their image.

“There is a lot of temptation in the music industry. You will see a lot of things, but you are not meant to touch. I used to think I would frolic with a lot of ladies because there are babes everywhere,” he said.

Lojay added that the reality of fame involves managing overwhelming attention, noting that discipline becomes even more necessary when faced with constant advances and admiration from fans.

“But when you have about 100 girls talking to you, that is when you need to cultivate discipline,” he added.
