Beverly Osu Calls Out Society For Stigmatizing Victims Of Romantic Deceit

According to Ireporter Online, actress Beverly Osu has condemned the widespread tendency to blame individuals for choosing the wrong partners, stressing that society often ignores those who deliberately misrepresent themselves in relationships.

In a post shared via her Instagram story, Osu argued that victims of relationship deceit are frequently shamed for trusting their partners, while the real perpetrators of manipulation are rarely held accountable.

She called for a change in public perception, insisting that attention should be shifted away from blaming those who trusted in love to exposing and confronting individuals who intentionally deceive others to gain emotional access.

Osu further maintained that trust should not be viewed as a weakness, adding that responsibility must lie with those who fabricate personalities to manipulate romantic relationships.

“We love blaming people for choosing the wrong partner, but we never blame the person who faked their entire personality just to get them. Stop shaming someone for trusting, and start holding the deceiver accountable for manipulating,” she wrote.
