After 20 Years In The UK, Nigerian Man Shares Why People Travel Abroad

A Nigerian immigrant has blasted the government for having no plan for its citizenry. The man identified as Oye in an exclusive interview with Legit. ng blamed the government for the migration of Nigerians to foreign countries. Oye says it is appaling that Nigeria is unable to cater for her citizenry despite being blessed with resources.

According to him, Nigeria, a country of 200 million people is more endowed in natural resources compared to the United Kingdom yet there is a large influx int the UK.

Oye, lamented that part of the challenges of leaving abroad aside the weather is the fact that immigrants, especially from Africa, have to spend about three years to acclamatize with things in the country including the accent. He said by the time one awakens to reality, such a one would have used up productive years in the course of getting to understand life in the UK.

Oye admitted that there is no place like home no matter how long one resides in a foreign country. The Nigerian man who has spent over two decades in a foreign country advised the government to help create opportunities for the populace.

Oye stated that instead of wasting years at the helm of affairs trying to fix different areas, the government should focus on one sector and develop it to its fullest.
