Dated October 14, 2024, the letter states, “I write to acknowledge the receipt of your letter requesting that the Governor-Elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) initiate the establishment of a transition team to work alongside your administration.

“We anticipate a smooth and effective collaboration with our 24-member Committee, led by Chief Pius Odubu as Chairman, to facilitate meaningful discussions that will ensure a seamless transition process.
