BREAKING: Ganduje Reacts As Tribunal Sacks Kano Governor Abba Yusuf

Following the verdict of the Kano State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has urged the people of the state to maintain peace.

Addressing newsmen at his residence in Abuja on Wednesday, September 20, Ganduje reassured the people of Kano that prosperity and economic activities would thrive once again.

It will be recalled that the APC had contested the declaration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) as the winner of the March 18th, 2023 governorship election.

Standing alongside Gawuna and a former governor of the state, Senator Kabir Gaya, Ganduje expressed confidence that people can now pursue their daily activities without fear of intimidation.

In response, Gawuna, the APC candidate affirmed by the tribunal, pledged to continue the legacy of the immediate past administration of Ganduje, during which he served as deputy governor. He also encouraged the people to resume their work and businesses in a peaceful manner, acknowledging the judgement as the will of “Allah”.
