BREAKING: Soludo Is Dead, Tinubu Reacts

Simeon Soludo, the father of Anambra governor Chukwuma Soludo, has passed away at the age of 92.

This announcement was made by Chris Aburime, the press secretary to Governor Soludo, in a statement on Monday.

Aburime stated that the esteemed elder, widely known as Ichie Akukananwa 1 of Isuofia in Aguata Local Government Area, passed away in the early hours of November 6.

He also mentioned that Mr. Soludo is survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, 22 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Governor Soludo expressed that his late father lived a fulfilling life and passed away at the respectable age of 92. Further details will be shared with the public in due course, according to the Press Secretary.

President Bola Tinubu has sympathised with the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, over the passing of his father.

The President, in a statement by Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, on Monday night, said Pa Simeon Soludo, who was a dignified and charitable family man, lived a fruitful life that is exemplified in the achievements, personal quality, and sterling records of his son, Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

“I pray the Almighty God grant your beloved father eternal rest. He lives through you still; in your sincerity, good works and deeds,” the President said

President Tinubu encouraged Governor Soludo and the good people of Anambra State to take solace in the excellent legacy of the departed nonagenarian.

The late Pa Soludo was 92 at the time of his passage into glory.
