Shettima, represented by Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, assured that the ongoing policy interventions are already generating positive results, with promising projections for 2025.

The Vice President emphasized that the report, crafted as part of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, is more than a collection of statistics. It is a comprehensive narrative showcasing the nation’s resilience and the government’s strategic efforts to transform economic challenges into opportunities for growth. “We are laying the foundation for sustainable economic development that will unlock opportunities for all Nigerians,” he stated.

Minister of Petroleum Resources, Ekperikpe Ekpo, also addressed the event, underscoring Nigeria’s immense gas potential, with over 209 trillion cubic feet of reserves. He believes that harnessing this resource could propel Nigeria to the forefront of Africa’s gas economy.

Meanwhile, Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, highlighted the vast untapped potential within Nigeria’s creative industry. She called for a focus on converting creative content into economic opportunities, which she sees as a vital path for diversifying the nation’s economy beyond petroleum.

With these strategic initiatives in place, the government remains hopeful that 2025 will see significant progress towards Nigeria’s economic recovery and growth.
