Nigerian Grammy-winning superstar, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has released his eighth studio album titled “No Sign of Weakness”, showcasing a fusion of African identity and international artistry.
The highly anticipated 16-track project officially dropped on Friday, July 11, 2025, and delves into themes of resilience, cultural pride, and emotional depth—all layered over Burna Boy’s signature Afro-fusion beats.
The album features a blend of local and international talents, signaling Burna Boy’s continued dominance on the global music stage.
Notable collaborations include:
-
Travis Scott on the energetic track “TaTaTa”,
-
Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones on the emotional ballad “Empty Chairs”,
-
Belgian sensation Stromae on “Pardon”,
-
Nigerian-American artist Shaboozey on “Change Your Mind”.
The album reinforces Burna Boy’s commitment to blending African storytelling with modern production, while expanding his reach into new sonic territories.
Meanwhile, fellow Nigerian singer Omah Lay made headlines on social media after dismissing the trend of Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery, calling it “old-fashioned” and “unattractive” in a tweet posted Thursday.
As “No Sign of Weakness” garners early acclaim, fans across the world are celebrating Burna Boy’s evolution as a global voice for African music.
